Meet The Therapists

Julie Derby, LCSW-C
I believe therapy is a collaborative process that allows trust and authenticity to foster insight and growth. A willingness to look inward and allow space for vulnerability will bring you stronger, more authentic connections to both yourself and to the people in your life. I provide psychotherapy for adults, young adults and adolescents in an empathetic non-judgmental environment with a focus on self-awareness, self-compassion and self-kindness.
I use a variety of proven techniques and theories as well as warmth and a touch of humor to help move you towards healing and reaching your goals. I work mainly from a psychodynamic perspective while incorporating cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapies to cultivate self-efficacy. My integrative approach focuses on understanding your life experiences and how they have led to you feeling overwhelmed, sad, lonely or lost and ultimately seeking therapy. I believe each person already has in them the natural desire to grow, and that is what therapy with me is all about: personal growth.

Allison Nordlinger, LCSW-C
I work with clients to address and resolve issues that are disrupting a satisfying personal, family or professional life. My private practice incorporates insight-oriented and relational work as well as mindfulness techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and some Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) techniques.
I work with people who are dealing with a broad variety of challenges including life transitions, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, identity formation, loss and grief, trauma, co-dependency, and parenting struggles. In my practice, I see teens, young adults, and adults.
My approach is to begin with a thorough assessment of current functioning and then work together with my clients to develop a treatment plan as appropriate.
